The Comcast program has been impressive from the start as an example of good corporate citizenry addressing societal challenges.  Rather than erecting a large government program Comcast itself took the issue head on with great results!

No matter how you slice it, the wireless industry has undergone – and continues to go through – an amazing transformation. As of June 2012, there were almost 322 million wireless devices in the U.S., and almost 41 percent of them were smartphones (almost 131 million).

This is a 37 percent increase from the previous year, when there were almost 96 million smartphones in the U.S.

While we’re clearly enjoying all of the benefits that smartphones offer, do you know how much the networks, hardware and content have evolved? This has also impacted how consumers and businesses use mobile devices.

Madery Bridge Senior Advisor Dr. Nam Phan and NAM EPA study

The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) released a new study, A Critical Review of the Benefits and Costs of EPA Regulations on the U.S. Economy, which finds six major Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations will cost manufacturers hundreds of billions of dollars and cause the loss of several million jobs. The study, was conducted by Dr. Nam Phan of ndp|consulting, one of the Madery Bridge Associates senior advisors. More on his work here:
